Visual Paradigm is a complete Production and Business
Management System for Graphic Arts firms. VP includes estimating and
production planning (all dialogs (prompts), tables, and calculations can
be setup by the user with EXCEL like formulas and easy table lookups) plus
customized quote letters tightly integrated with order management.
Additional modules include job costing with a powerful touch screen shop
floor system (touch screens are optional) and purchasing plus inventory
control. The system also includes a powerful change order system and
printed plus electronic job tickets. VP’s “Drop & Drag” scheduling assists
the scheduler in matching equipment availability with job demands and
"publishes" the schedule to the shop floor. VP options include an
accounting system or interfaces with a variety of popular accounting
systems are available. Internet based applications include Request for
Quote, Quote, Order, Acknowledgements, Change Order, and Job Status. Other
Internet applications include Fulfillment Order Entry with Inventory
reporting. Due to its outstanding flexibility, VP has been successfully
installed in; Print On Demand shops, all digital printers, commercial
printers, box manufacturers, trade binderies, prep houses, and fulfillment
